I RECENTLY RECEIVED A REFUND INTO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT & PAYPAL DEDUCTED £6 FROM THE TOTAL WHY IS THIS?  SURELY THIS CANNOT BE RIGHT AS I AM OUT OF POCKET BY £6 I KNOW IT IS NOT MUCH BUT EVERY PENNY COUNTS.

I RECENTLY BOUGHT 2 URBAN DECAY EYESHADOW PALETTES FROM A SELLER ON EBAY, THEY ARRIVED DAMAGED & I AM RETURNING THEM TO THE SELLER FOR A FULL REFUND OF £50+.  THIS IS NOT MY FAULT THAT I WANT TO RETURN DAMAGED GOODS SO WHY WILL PAYPAL DEDUCT MONEY FROM ME AS SOON AS THE REFUND GOES BACK INTO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT?  SURELY THE SELLER SHOULD BE CHARGED NOT ME?!!

No one should be charged.

Sounds as if the seller did not use the "refund" option, if they had then the sellers initial fee would have been refunded and you would have been credited the full amount.

Sounds as if the seller used the "send money" option and paypal saw it as a payment for "good" and you as the seller and so charged you the fee.

You need to contact your seller and ask why they did not use the refund option.
