I recieved an email from service@ intl.paypal co.uk and pretty sure its a scam. I say that I made a payment to a company I do not recognise and it said its connected to my account but its the wrong email address. I tried checking if an account with that email was even made. Tried it 4 times, no account exist. Away to check if my bank account has been debited by the stated amount (checked my real account and no payment came out of it that matched the company or the amount). Anyone else run across this?
Thanks for posting in the forum and apologies for the late reply. As you mention, this doesn’t seem like a genuine message from PayPal. Any transaction sent or received, should appear in your PayPal account. Furthermore, we would always address you by your full name.
