PayPal just charged me 30p on a credit of £2.96. That's 10%. When did they increase their rate to 10%? It's the same as eBay's rate. It means de facto eBay are charging 20% commission on all sales - and that's not on sales only but on sales plus postage, so it's actually a very much heavier commission than 10%. That stinks.

Its actually 3.4% + 20p per transaction.
You should really read up on FEES before you start selling.
As its such a low amount that you received then its the '20p' thats the killer for you.
If you are selling items for such a low amount then maybe get a Paypal micropayment account?

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
