Paid to old ebay account by mistake how do I go about getting it back

Hi All

I made a payment to my wifes old ebay account in error as she created a new one when we moved home last year. Hence has 2 accounts running although she did not realise.

The money I sent her is now held awaiting authorisation as her old account was not verified hence cannot now access the funds is there a way we can return the funds and send to the most recent account as we need this money fairly quickly to pay for something.

Advice greatly received! A bit embarassing really!

Your best bet is to contact customer services who can transfer the funds for her hopefully.

Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".
