PAY AFTER DELIVERY

Hi

 

Once again Paypal has changed my preferences to  Pay After Delivery - this means the money goes from my Account in 14 Days.

I have changed it to " I dont want this " option, but its still coming up with "credit card cannot be used at this time " and then goes to the 14 day pay after delivery.

Is there a fault on Pay Pal as I cant seem to change this no matter what !!!

I DONT want this option and prefer to pay immediately - why cant I do this any more ?????

PAD.
After you make a Pay After Delivery payment, PAD automatically becomes the default way for you to pay for purchases, wherever PAD is offered.


To change the default way you pay for purchases:
1.Log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk
2.Click 'Profile' near the top of the page
3.Click ‘My money’.
4.Click ‘Update’ beside ‘bank accounts.’
5.Under 'Paying after delivery is my preferred way to pay', click 'Turn this option off'.

Otherwise, you can decide not to use PAD during the checkout flow. Click 'Change' on the Review Your Information page during checkout and select a different payment method.

Hi

 

Thanks for speedy reply - I have turned off this option before I posted this - I went to it again and the option is off, but still at checkout its showing that my bank account cant be used ( there is no problem with my bank account ! ) Its showing the payment after delivery and wont let me change??

Thats odd then, think you better contact customer services and see if they can sort it for you.

 

Click on the words "Contact us" at the bottom of paypal pages > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent.

OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

Thanks again, I have emailed earlier on - explained my problem , then received a reply asking me if I had forgotten my password.............!!! I emailed again but no reply yet , no idea whats happening really.

Hi

 

I solved it one way - I unlinked the Ebay/Paypal option - meaning I have to Log in to Paypal - this then seemed to work ok as the payment was taken immediately
