My payment is pending and i already shipped, can i get the money now?

I recently just sold an item to someone for 200 and he sent me another seperate payment for 40 to pay for shipping. I have already shipped the package and bth payments say pending. What can I do?

When you receive a payment but you have no prior selling history with us, PayPal places the payments you receive in your pending balance. This is practised in the effort to provide a safer and protected online payment environment for both the buyer and seller. The payment is placed on a 21 days hold.

These payments are always placed in the pending balance unless further information is provided to be eligible for early release. If you add the tracking number and mark the transaction as shipped in the details of the pending payment, your funds will be released to you sooner than the 21 days.
