My Aunt just paid me £600 using Friends and Family but I only recieved £579.40.
Can anyone tell me why this is?

2 possibilities.
1. She did not select the family / friends option and sent it using send money > goods / services instead.
2. She used the friends / family option but funded the payment via a credit card. Friends / family payments are only free when you fund them via bank transfer or funds already in your balance and NOT a card.
If she did fund it via a card then the sender can pay the fee or pass it on to the receiver.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thanks for your answer. She definitely used friends and family so she must have used a credit card....
I had no idea.
Thanks
