Ebay says paid, but not showing in paypal

I sold an item on Ebay about an hour ago, ebay shows the item as paid for, if I click on the 'view paypal transaction' link next to the sale in ebay it takes me to the transaction on paypal (classic site) which says it's complete and paid to the correct email address, but when I go to my paypal summary, on normal paypal site and classic paypal site, the transaction is not listed at all, I have had no email from paypal either saying the payment has been received.

I have no intention of sending the item until I am happy that I've been paid, so wont do so until it is showing in my summary,but can't fathem out why the transaction has obviously completed as I can view the transaction on paypal via the link on ebay but I can't find it in paypal any other way.

Are you sure you used the correct email address on eBay to receive payment in PayPal.

Sounds like to me you didn't and the money has gone to someone else's account.

In any case you need to contact eBay ASAP and get them to reverse the buyer's payment (if you cancel it yourself, the whole transaction is cancelled and the buyer must approve it, which takes time).
