I have an empty bank account that I have linked on PayPal in order to transfer money from my eBay sales into my bank. I have my card set as the default funding source, and then my bank account. Why then, does it try and take money from my bank account first!?! It's annoying, wastes time, and ends up being on PayPal as I don't have money in that account and by the time PayPal tries to take it and use my card instead I don't have money on my card and the PayPal payment is either reversed or my account goes to a negative (which I don't care about because I don't use PayPal that much and can pay when I do have the money [which I did at the time of payment!]). Luckily my bank account doesn't charge to bounce the failed PayPal payments, but please PayPal, stop assuming that everyone wants to pay with their bank account.
