paypal.com/uk redirect to paypal.com/us

good day.

i'm trying to setup a paypal payments for clients from UK

they need to accept payments on paypal.co.uk site.

but when i test checkout button paypal redirects me to .com/us page instead .com/uk

what to do? I have no access to their paypal acc, but they provide me with api credentials.

everything is fine except UK vs US versions of site.

is there any setting in paypal business account to send customers to UK version of paypal?

please save me!! need urgent answer...
