Help - Internet exporer keeps crashing when checking out using PP

I noticed this start on my suppliers site when paypal upgraded the checkout a couple of weeks ago. Basically, you checkout which goes to the paypal page but when you log in Internet Explorer crashes and closes - if I go back to my supplier site again then it works.

 

I've just noticed the same thing on my website so I'm worried I'm losing sales!! I'm using PP standard.

 

Any ideas?

Hey there, sounds like an issue with your web host server. You may wish to contact your web host provider in relation to that. You could also try our contacting our Merchant Technical Support team.

 

If you are using PayPal Standard checkout, then you may wish to consider PayPal’s Express Checkout.

Basically buyers shop on your website and click 'Check out with PayPal' to pay. They don't have to enter any postal address, billing address, or payment information because it's available from PayPal. The buyer reviews their order and continues to check out. You control the overall checkout process, which means buyers stay on your website even after they make their payment.

 

Here's how a buyer checks out when you have Express Checkout:

 

The buyer clicks 'Check out with PayPal' on your website.

The buyer is prompted to log in to PayPal.

The buyer reviews the postage and billing information and clicks 'Pay.'

The buyer receives an order confirmation by email.
