It seems very odd that several parcels have gone missing.

I have been selling for years and only have the occasional 1 and never more than that together..

I think you should first of all check with the post office where you sent them from to make sure they are not all sitting there still in a forgotten corner still waiting to go.

As for the claims, you will lose unless tracking shows DELIVERY of the item to the buyer. If you didn't send trackable then you will probably lose. If you did send trackable and the items don't turn up then you can claim from the post office  with your recorded delivery slip and refund your buyers. But remember royal mail don't consider an item lost until 15 working days are passed.

Paypal cannot delve into your bank account, if you lose the claim and have not refunded then paypal refund the buyers and then put your account in neg till you pay them back, if you don't pay them back you may well not be allowed to use your account or they may come after you for the money via a debt agency....but that is the worst scenario.

Theres always that risk if you don't send trackable but it seems odd that they are all doing that.

Have you told your buyers that you have Proof of Postage?  My friend had the same trouble as you and told them she had Proof of Postage and miraculously 3 hours later the items turned up!  Have you also asked them to check with neighbours and at their local Sorting Office?  My friend has also been so far as to email certain buyers a copy of the Proof of Postage and again the item then turns up.  Good luck.
