conflicting email on ebay

i have my ebay account set up with a different email account to my paypal. this has never been a problem before and all my payments have come through fine, however this time it has tried to send payment to the ebay email instead of the paypal one. from what my buyers are saying some payments have been accepted others have been refused with a 'seller not registered' message, either way there have been no credits to the account. help?!

Welcome to the community Forum!

The email address on your PayPal account is much like an account number, telling us what PayPal account to credit your eBay earnings into.

If there is no PayPal account set up with the email address you are using on eBay, our system does not know where to send your funds.

Good news though! If you add and confirm the email address you are using on eBay to your active PayPal account, the funds will move towards your account as expected
