Hello everyone,
I sold an antique clock and unfortunately it was not survived during transit. Got a little damage. Buyer ask me to give partial refund that almost half the selling value for repair. I already stated that I sent the package by courier at buyer own risk. And yest she still willing me to post the clock. I tried my best to pack the clock.
I calle PayPal and one of customer service member said it's all seller resposibility to ensure item arrive safely to buyer. And definately buyer will win dispute claim and buyer got risk free of buying. Not like Ebay customer service member that told me I'm not obligued to refund.
Any comment?
Thank you.

Did your auction state courier was an option and a charge made? If so then yes you were responsible in getting the item to the buyer as advertised.
However if you listed the item as pick up and the buyer asked you to send my courier at their risk then I don't think you would be responsible.
I however am not paypal and don't know all the facts, all you can do is put in all the info and see what they say.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
