PayPal <-> eBay system communication issues

Hi all,

I just tried listed an item on eBay only to be told that I'm unable to do so, as there are issues with my PayPal account that need addressing in the resolution center. No issues are present, and a call to PayPal CS confirms that my account is OK. I'm advised to call eBay, which I do (requesting a callback), and after checking my account they tell me to speak to PayPal to resolve the issue, only to put me through to an automated system that doesn't recognise my phone number (suspect it's an American system, but I'm a UK client.)

I'm not hugely impressed with the poor comms here between the two companies, especially considering their public perception of being highly integrated. Can anyone please advise who I can contact about this issue before I end up wasting even more of my time? Any information or advice gratefully received.

Many thanks.

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top. Log in and get the code.
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent OR just say the word 'Agent'".
In the UK its free from any landline phone.

Thanks for the advice, but this is second thing I did, the first being to check my PayPal account online for issues.

I'm leery of doing this given that the PayPal rep said there was nothing wrong with my account; however, for lack of other options, I'll try them again tomorrow and see what happens.
