Pay PayPal frees

Please help.

I have just sold a watch on eBay, man. Bought it , has paid as coming up on PayPal but it's pending, why is that . Plus PayPal has taken £7.83 in free - again why .

Well of course paypal charge a fee, did you think they were a charity and their staff did not want any wages at the end of the month? How do you think they make a profit?
