Hi, I've just sold 2 items on ebay and the PayPal payments have now completed. However they are a little (4.1% and 3.6%) less than the ebay final selling prices! Does paypal now take its fees immediately or is something else going on here?

Paypal deducts its fee directly from your buyers payment before the remainder is debited to your paypal account balance.
This is unlike Ebay that invoice you on a monthly basis.
