Micropayments change fee table

So,

If you sell it's under $10 you will qualify for Paypal micropayments fees table:

5% plus $0.05 (per transaction) (which is pretty good and it adds up the savings.

However...

Once you sign up for micropayments, you are stuck on that fee, so you sell one item in the future for $100 or $5000, you still pay the fee above and not the 2.7% + $0.30

My suggestion, is for the Paypal micropayments project to make it automatically that if a transaction reach over $10 then the fee revert back to original Paypal fees.

Does that make sense to anyone?

Makes sense to me if they change it to do that. Seems like a good idea. Also, I don't get why micropayments don't have predictable and simple pricing like a flat-rate fee. Also, I've always thought of mico-payments as smaller amounts. There does not seem to be a way to tally list amounts up over a month, like say something like Flattr http://flattr.com/ or one of the many micropayment sites.
