I receive scam emails quite often pretending to be from Paypal and letting me know that my account is in danger of being closed for one reason or another. Of course I also receive scam emails pretending to be from banks. I am smart enough (and not very gulible) so I can diferentiate the real thing from a scam. Unfortunately, there are too many people out there that do not know or don't pay enough attention.
I usually just delete these emails but it would good to be able to forward them to some security center that would look into them and try to do something about it. Maybe Paypal could also send warnings more often to remind people not to open any link included in these emails. If they want to make sure whether it is legit or not, sign on to Paypal to check but not use any link in the email. As for myself, I know that neither banks nor Paypal, nor any legit, secure site will sent emails to their customers with any links attached.

I have also received one in the last few days and went seaching for a place to report this activity. The Paypal website asks that you forward the email onto spoof@paypal.com. Hopefully this will help.
