I called this number to report that my account was hacked and closed and they did indeed send me an official email from paypal that a case had been opened, but I had some issues, I just wanted to be sure that the number is legitimate as I saw on reddit that a common scam is fake numbers.
Can't post phone numbers on here for just that reason, scammers post threads on here with fake paypal numbers hoping someone will use them to get help before the moderators can remove those threads.
The only safe way to get a paypal number is by going via help/contact bottom of paypal pages on their website and NEVER use a google search as scammers imbed fake Paypal numbers there as well.
