I got this message after trying toc hsnge my name and giving documentation about my name change: After reviewing your PayPal account, we've determined there to be excessive risk involved in doing business with you and we'd like to begin parting ways in a manner that is least disruptive to your business. Is there any way around this at all? I'm not a high risk person; just someone that would like to change their name because when I created this account I'd isn't think I would be keeping it to this day!

You can change your name for a minor 2 character typo or for legal reasons ie marriage for example so what was the reason?

If it was neither of those and you used a fake or nickname on your financial, legal paypal account then yes thats against paypal rules and you/your account would be banned unfortunately.

Oh I see. 😞 And what about creating future accounts, would that work...? Or is there any pardonment that they would look into for specific cases?

If they haven't said you can open a new account then any other account you open would be auto banned as well.

As you have broken their rules once then they may decide not to offer you a future paypal account.

Only way you can find out is by contacting customer services and asking if you can open a new account.
