Hi looking for advice/help please.
I received 4 genuine emails from PayPal today regarding 2 x direct debit transactions that had failed because my direct debit between PayPal & my bank account wasn't valid. (Why after so many years is it no longer valid?)
The advice was -
To use your bank account ending in nnnn to fund any future payments using PayPal, please re-submit your Direct Debit Instruction. To do this, log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.com/uk. Click Wallet, select the desired bank account and click Confirm. Click Continue, then review and submit the Direct Debit details.
When it came to reviewing the DD details I was concerned about the payee details and the fact that I need to print, sign and post.
Review and print the Direct Debit Instruction
When you've printed and signed this form, please post it to the Originator's Address, which you'll see below.
1) How do I know this is the genuine payee details ?
2) PayPal took the DD amounts from my preferred card. Can I delete my bank account and request that they take DDs from my card as they do with purchases?
Thank you for reading this , any advice will be greatly appreciated x
