Unpaid balance on account that closed

I keep getting calls about an unpaid balance on a PayPal account that has been closed.

I haven't received any emails about the unpaid and had to remake a new account, but I keep getting calls about the unpaid balance.

When I go to call back from the number I receive it, it says the PayPal number I call is invalid.

Sounds odd as you normally cannot close a paypal account with a negative or positive balance.

Give paypal customer services a call?
