Payment will reflect on account up to 24 hours?

I recently sold a product online to another person, and he has sent me the screenshot of his payment, on the SS it says that the payment will reflect on my account within or upto 24 hours, but it hasn't. Person already has the product so I am starting to worry this guy scammed me. is the transaction taking so long because it's a weekend? does the business days matter when taking or receiving payments? My account is a brand new account. can someone please explain why the payment has not reflected immediately or within the 24 hours

Why would you send an item before being paid?

If the payment was on hold or pending it would still show in your paypal account activity or balance.

If its not then you have not been paid.
