I was just charged by PayPal and I’m not sure why?

Hi; My bank account alerted me to a transaction; had a look and it was PayPal, deducted $2.55 from my linked Bank account. Had a look at my associated PayPal account and there’s no reference to the deduction. How and why has PayPal charged my bank account? All I have is a transaction ID on the transaction in mt banking app. Not sure how to follow up to see where the deduction came from.

If you bought something online with a debit or credit card and didn't log into your Paypal account then of course it won't show on that Paypal account because you bought as a guest buyer.
However your seller may have processed that payment using their Paypal 'card reader' and so Paypal would show on your bank or card statement.
The amount may take a while to actually show on your card or bank account.
If that is not the case then contact customer services and your card issuer to query the transactions.
