ANY ADVICE OR INSIGHT PLEASE?
As of 9/18/23 11:25EST I have spent 10 hours on phone with PayPal
My PayPal account is linked to my checking account to pull funds as needed. I called PayPal within an hour of these fraudulent charges posting on my account. I'm at a loss as to why no one finds it odd that $13,000+ worth of Dyson product was ordered by me and shipped to 3 different addresses acrodd the United States. I fail to see how that is "consistent with your PayPal history."
8/10/2[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]was added to my PayPal account unknown origin <-- per PayPal
8/28/23 12 charges for $13,260.53 made to Dyson Inc with purchases being shipped to the following addresses:

8/28/23 I called PayPal to report the charges as fraud within an hour of them posting. PayPal incorrectly flagged ALL good transactions for the day and NONE of the fraudulent charges. I logged in online and removed all of the incorrectley filed transactions.
8/29/23 The first of 12 charges for $1042.61 hit my bank account. I called my bank, closed my checking account and they immediately reimbursed the fraudulent $1,042.61 charge.
8/29/23 The remaining 11 charges started hitting my account which was now closed so no additional money was taken, however my PayPal balance now show negative $12,189.92
8/30/23 PayPal determined there was no unauthorized use.
9/2/23 Decision was appealed and reviewed.
9/2/23 PayPal determined there was no unauthorized use.
9/5/23 Contacted PayPal again to have it reviewed more and see what I needed to do next. The first rep's answer was: "you'll just have to tell collections these are fraudulent charges when they call" I asked to speak to someone else. and now it is being reviewed again. I was advised to open a case with IC3.
9/6/23 8 of the charges have been corrected, 3 are still outstanding
9/8/23 I get a call from PayPal collections
9/8/23 I called and spoke with someone and the last 3 transactions are in the process of being reversed
9/11/23 I began the process of uploading required documents to remove account restrictions
9/12/23 PayPal email tells me 3 of the 12 the charges were not fraud
9/12/23 Appealed once again the final 3 charges
9/12/23 Called PayPal again and was told the final 3 were being reviewed and should be taken care of within 5 business days
9/17/23 Received email saying the 3 charges were NOT fraudulent, and I replied with an appeal AGAIN
9/18/23 Collections called me again this morning
9/18/23 Paypal rep gave me this number which she assured me was NOT collections which already called me this morning. [Removed. Phone #s not permitted]- guess what this number was to? COLLECTIONS. . . collections say they will transfer me to someone that can help. . .been on hold for 25 mins now.
9/18/23 I was on hold for 40 mins, talked to a rep and 3 mins into the call it goes silent, and then the call dropped
9/18/23 Mario, in collections, I was told these last three were "unresolvable" and he would transfer me, and hung up on me
