Would a payment confirmation be through a gmail domain? I am about to ship a product off Facebook marketplace but this email confirmation does not seem correct.

Are the funds SHOWING in your paypal account balance, if so you were paid, if they are NOT showing in your paypal balance then you have not.
Any email telling you to ship first and provide tracking BEFORE the funds show in your balance is a scam.
If funds were pending for any reason they would still SHOW in your paypal balance.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Also happened to me. The supposed PayPal confirmation email of payment was in my spam folder and from a Gmail account. Not a real PayPal email address. I've received many other payments via PayPal and it doesn't work like this. Payment notification is usually via text and appears in my account straight away. So I deleted the email and blocked the fake buyer. Reported the fake buyer to FB.
