My friend accidentally sent me money under goods and services instead of as a friend and now my account is on hold. I have followed thru with paypal's demand to clarify the mistake by answering their question but to no avail, paypal have punished my account by permanently limiting my account and holding the money I intend to use. I am not from the US so I can not contact them thru their number and I find it hard to contact paypal service. I believe I should not have been punished extremely by an honest mistake my friend had made when sending money to my account. I am in dire need to help and hoping this community may reach any paypal moderator with my issue.

Paypal don't ban you for receiving a payment so that would not be the reason, best reach out to them and ask.
Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.
1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.

1. Paypal phone is only in the US
2. If you have read my concern, they literally banned me from using their services because my friend sent me money under goods and services instead of as a friend which raised a flag in their system as I am not a merchant.
3. I believe there is no live chat nor any means for anyone to get into contact of a real person working for paypal outside US. You may prove me wrong but I have exhausted efforts in trying to contact Paypal support.

1. Paypal phone is not just U.S. I am not in the U.S and have phoned them based in Europe.
2. Yep I did read your concern and paypal do not ban you just for receiving payments on a personal account, I have a personal account, am not a merchant and receive goods/services payments regularly.
3. Live chat comes and goes but you can certainly use Facebook or Twitter, I did the other day, you just use the 'message' option and if they can't help select speak to an agent.

1. Again, I did extensive research on how to reach a real person from paypal because their resolution center and help center are only limited by their presets of FAQ. So unless you can provide me with a tel number based in Philippines, I'm afraid they are unreachable in my country.
2. This is the sole reason why I am reaching out to the community and I have found out this is a common problem and you can not discredit error on the part of paypal. "I have a personal account, am not a merchant and receive goods/services payments regularly" The situation applies all the same to me and if it were the same case I would not have been posting this in need to help.
3. I have attempted their support page in twitter and still waiting for a reply and I really hope it isn't a bot limited to their script.
