What happens to direct deposits that are sent to my PayPal account while my account is limited?

PayPal has recently limited my account from receiving and sending funds for "suspicious activity", while they said that it would be resolved in one business day (It hasn't) my question is what happens to direct deposits that are sent while my account can't receive funds? Are the funds returned or does PayPal hold on to them until the account limitations are removed?

Hello @AngelPA,
Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear your account is limited - I can understand how that can be quite frustrating. Whether your account can receive payments or not while limited depends entirely on the limitation itself. You should be able to see which functionality is blocked through your limitation's details in the Resolution Center.
Best wishes!
