Hi, I am being paid money from another country making it international. They told me the money was sent and I would get a email to confirm, which I did but underneath the email it said check (your payment has been processed, $100 Bitcoin is needed to complete your payment, it then says to go to paybis.com. I asked the person what it meant and they said to receive the money I need to pay the international fee, to see and have the money, I really need to know if there is international fees when receiving money from overseas, or if this is a scam, please help!

You never pay any upfront fee as a seller.

Ignore scammers that send fake Paypal emails telling you that you need to pay an upfront fee to verify/upgrade/or any other reason to 'accept' a payment.

You would certainly never have to send funds via another payment processor/bitcoins/ or tokens/vouchers of any sort.

Any fee is auto deducted by Paypal at the same instant the remainder of the payment is credited to your Paypal account balance.

No funds in your balance = you have not yet been paid, even pending/held payments will still show in your Paypal account activity.

Thank you so much. So I definitely do not need to pay international fees to receive money, and I should be receiving the money no matter what “fees”.

Any fee is auto-deducted by Paypal in the same nano second your funds SHOW in your paypal balance.

Even pending or on hold they will still show in your transaction activity.

No funds = you have not been paid and do NOT pay a fee upfront.
