We are looking to book a long weekend in the UK and the property only allow payments via bank transfer or Paypal. Before I give up on the idea, can anyone tell me if I'm covered via PaylPals Buyer Protection should any issues arise, particularly for Bankruptcy. I cant find anything re bankruptcy in the help section and messaging PayPal directly has been useless. The holiday is a sizeable figure due to the number of people going - in total including security deposit its £7k - hence our reluctance
I believe that as I would be paying via PayPal my credit card would no longer cover me should anything occur - so all protection would have to come from PayPal
The other complication is that the property want a deposit now and so this would be paid now - which means it would fall outside of the 180 day window
I think its a no but just thought I would give it one more try to find an answer.....
thanks

Personally no way would I risk that amount of money paying via paypal.
Secondly outside of 180 means no buyer protection.
Lastly as they only want bank transfer or paypal I would run a mile.
Just my personal opinion though.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
