Online Transfer Purchaser claims he did not recieve

Anything I can do , i transferred an online item to a person and then a few days later they claimed though paypal they never received it and so paypal have returned their money despite me proving through screenshots he did. Now I don't have the money or the item ? Are paypal facilitaing a web scam ?

You have special requirements in paypals seller protection policy to meet to sell virtual / digital items.

In the event of a dispute you would need to have met those requirements and screenshots don't apply.

But he claims he never received it yet 5 days afterwards he messaged me saying he wanted to return it ?? Thrn after that fails he files a claim saying he never received it - I mean wtf . It’s pretty clear cut . Now he has his money back and the item !!
