Faulty Goods

We ordered 10 light fittings from Spain for a contract we had and 2 of the light fittings came faulty and un usable. We contacted the company on numerous occasions and we explained without the 2 fittings being replaced we were unable to fullfill our contact. We must have been in contact with them a dozen times asking for the replacements and they kept blaming the problem on Brexit and it being more difficult to send replacement fittings out. We paid via paypal and filed a claim and for some bizarre reason have gone in the sellers favour. They keep opening the case back up but say we provided documents too late which we didnt it was down to the fact paypal didnt pick up the emails. I have just had a conversation with paypal and asked to be put through to complaints and they said they didnt have a complaints department and kept me on hold for a manager for 48 mins and in the end i had to put the phone down. I do intend to take this further but i just wondered if anyone had this issue with paypal

Paypal covers you for items significantly other than as described ie wrong item etc, sadly you ordered light fittings and that is what you received and Paypal don't get involved in quality issues that would be between you and the seller to sort out.
