Cannot access the money I have sent him for schooling and daily expenses

PayPal has now disabled 2 of my nephews accounts. I live abroad and pay for his schooling. Both accounts have a significant amount of money in them. PayPal won’t let him access that money nor will it give me back my money so I can make other arrangements to pay his fees and living expenses. The resolution Centre is ridiculous. PayPal is simply stealing the money. does anyone know how to either get PayPal to allow him to withdraw the money from his account or get the money back to me so I can make other arrangements?

No the account was only opened last year. The account was set up with the assistance of customer support while we were on the phone under the Canadian PayPal rules (that is where we were at the time), this was after receiving an email confirming how we were to set it up, it was complicated so we contacted customer support. There is no point going back and forth with you, I have contacted PayPal and the Financial Ombudsman Services (my account is in Australia) and the Ombudsman has said I definitely have legal recourse as considering the evidence I’ve submitted, PayPal has no right to keep the money that was left in the account. So I will be pursuing them using the ombudsman to collect the money they are withholding.

Sorry but paypal stopped all student accounts in 2016.

So if he opened one last year it would have been an illegally opened minor account.

No one could open a student paypal account last year in any country because that option did not exist.
