sandbox required credit card to complete purchase

Hi, there.

When I purchase something using my sandbox account days ago, it not require me to add a debit or credit card, but today when I test it again, it is required, but I don't have the sandbox card info, I used Braintree lib in the frontend, please help me to fix it, thanks very much!

I also have this problem. I tried adding a fake credit card number (generated from some generator on the internet). 

The PayPal sandbox environment will not accept these generated cards, and keeps displaying the NEED_CREDIT_CARD error message.

Can you please tell us how to fix this? Or if this a bug that needs to be fixed in the PayPal Sandbox environment?

Your own credit card generator https://developer.paypal.com/developer/creditCardGenerator/ doesn't produce any numbers that work either.
