Sandbox - Getting error while trying to pay via paypal credit

Hi,

I am testing paypal integration with our system. In that, when I try to test the paypal credit  feature, I always get error like below:-

Funding Instrument In The PayPal Account Was Declined By The Processor Or Bank, Or It Can't Be Used For This Payment (code: 2074)

I have made sure that my buyer account has paypal credit which can be used

Also, I have made sure that pay via paypal credit is enabled for my business account.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

There are a lot of factors that could be causing the PayPal Credit Funding source in the buyer account to be declined. One thing you can try is to ensure that the amount is $150.00 or less. I have tested in my sandbox account and found that amounts that are less than $150.00 usually will be approved with no issues. Also ensure that you have not turned on Negative Testing in your Buyer or Seller Sandbox Accounts.

Log into the Dashboard on https://developer.paypal.com

1. Click on Accounts under Sandbox
2. Click on either your buyer or seller account
3. Click on Profile
4. Click on Settings
5. Ensure that Payment Review and Negative Testing is turned off

Attempt the transaction again.
