I want to take pending payments on my Woocommerce website with Paypal as frequently I need to split orders. I know I can reduce an order total before completing it. But I have two questions. 1) Can I perform a Merchant Initiated Billing (like you can do with Stripe etc for repeat orders) or do I have a send a payment request for future amounts? If say someone pre-orders 4 items that are all available separately. 2) Can I increase a pending order amount? There are various reasons why we might want to increase the pending amount slightly. Many thanks.

Hi @Page45,
Thank you for posting to the PayPal Merchant Community. WooCommerce should have a plugin that allows for Merchant Initiated Billing. All that is required is for Reference Transactions to be enabled on your PayPal Account. If you provide your sandbox merchant id for your Business Sandbox account, I can enable it in sandbox for you, so you can test it. If you need it in live, you will need to reach out to PayPal Customer Support requesting Reference Transactions for WooCommerce so you can process Saved Payment methods.
Thank you,
Jennifer
