Hi, Currently using PayPal checkout and that is working fine for purchasing products (digital) via my ecommerce solution.
I want to automatically renew the purchased products when a customer checks a 'automatic renewal' box.
I have this now correctly integrated with Stripe and Mollie, but need to refactor my PayPal integration to also be able to do this.
Read the various online documents but these are not clear on what would be the best approach for this.
So basically the process is as follows:
1. customer adds product (e.g. extension subscription 6 months) in shopping basket
2. customer goes to checkout, checks autorenew and clicks paypal button
3. the paypal checkout (popup) shows in the browser
4. the customer pays for the initial amount (and agrees to future automatic payments)
Now after 6 months I need to renew the subscription, this without customer 'intervention'...
What is needed here to make this work?
Many thanks in advance for thinking along and sharing you expertise and experience!
Regards,
Ruud
