Hi All,
We are creating a Python Django Rest API for our travel app. We need to charge customer for bookings by collecting card details. So we are looking for option to use Paypal SDK to perform direct card transaction through our API. Does paypal allows this? Please guide me.
Also, PayPal supports around 40 countries, does that mean transactions initiated from other countries are not allowed? Please provide some inputs on this.
Thanks,
Anand

Hi @AnandThurubatla,
Thank you for contacting PayPal community.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Unfortunately, DDC(Direct Credit Card) payments via REST API is restricted.
I request to please follow the Integrate PayPal Checkout Using the Braintree SDK Or PayPal Smart payment buttons.
Thank you for understanding and patience.
Sincerely,
Chiranjeevi
