For the laqst several years Quicken has only accepted Web Connect as its format to download transactions.  They haven't accepted the .qif for several versions so any of us that have the newer versions can't download into our quicken program.  Anyway you'll can frix the problem?

A better method  for request changes is to submit a Feature Request.   This can be done by opening a Support Ticket here.  Under the Severity Dropdown Selection, choose "Feature Request".   This officially documents the information in the Support Ticket System and gets rerouted to the Software Engineers.

Well, folks, this is interesting.  I went into Quicken today and tried the automatic update for all my accounts and I was prompted to put in a password for PayPal.  I did and then clicked update and I got all my missing transactions from last October when it ceased working through now.  (Please see my previous posts for history).  That's great news except I don't want to accept them because I manullay entered everything since October and I don't want everything duplicated.  Is there a way to NOT accept the transactions but remove them from the board.

Thanks, Leon

On another note...The PayPal Reserve Holds and Releases are not downloaded even now so this is less than perfect.  They are transactions that should show so they have to be manually entered anyway.

I successfully downloaded  the Paypal transactions by disabling and re-enabling Quicken 2008 One-Step online feature.  If you initiate the download from Quicken, it works.

This also worked with Quicken 2009.

I used to be able to do the one-step update in Quicken.  It stopped earlier this year.  I try to disable and re-enable it, but PayPal is no longer on the list of available financial institutions.

Did PayPal discontinue support?  If so, seems like something it might be nice for them to communicate.

I have the same problem as MikeW. Formerly downloaded all PayPal transactions from Qucken, but it stopped working some months ago. Why? I a gigantic company can't offer this simple thing any longer?
