Why on earth would Paypal not allow a customer to download their own data directly into whatever file format needed rather than make one wait hours or days for the Paypal system to create the report and then notify the customer the report is finished and ready to be downloaded? What sense does that make? It isn't like I can't see that information. I can see it in exactly the way I need it downloaded - I could take screen shots and have the data - but I need to be able to work with it which means csv.
If I go online to my bank I can "ask" for a 12 month history of every debit or credit or fee during that time, choose the fields most important, and download instantly right from the web site. I am in the middle of a project I need to finish tonight and 12 months standard - low volume data is required. In the reporting feature when I hit "create" report, even for just one month it tells they will email me when the report is done. What? Someone is going to have to explain that to me as it makes no sense.
