Ok,
So I get the need to report money since I live in Illinois and I went over the threshold. So please read fully before responding.
All I sold on paypal was used household stuff and miscellaneous crap around my house. It seemed an easy way for people to pay.
I DO NOT have a business and yet now this money is being labeled as a business. I literally can't even report the income without telling the IRS what business I own. Let me repeat i DO NOT have a business.
I assume this is an issue because I used the 'goods & services' option but I did this without realizing it. Let me repeat I DO NOT have a business.
How do I get this fixed on Paypal side. I could care less about reporting the money although I certainly won't make this mistake any more. Nevertheless, I am being forced to report the money but then forced to declare a business that I DO NOT have.
How do I get this fixed?
Thanks,
Jay
