Every month, I download my historical data (statements and activities) from Paypal, for archiving and further processing. Since PayPal only provides historical data for a limited time range, I download everything I can get hold of, even if currently not needed. This is:
- Montly account statements as PDF and CSV
- Activities:
- All transactions with all fields as CSV, TAB and PDF
- Finalized payments with all fields as QIF and IIF
That is seven files per month. To do this, I need countless clicks including date range selection, file format selection and download clicks. In addition, I need to wait for the reports to be created. This takes a lot of time.
Does Paypal offer a way to automate this procedure? Is there a menu that I did not find or a way to use the API for this?
