Answer = no. (as of Friday 6th June).
Only talked about here in 'community'.
So I guess what I have to tell customers who are Paypal users, that if they pay by Paypal, I will always be able to access their data via PP as far back as 2013, and unless they contact PP themselves, as to the Privacy Policy, and ask for the data to be removed, it is because of their agreement with PP. Nothing to do with me.
I do not have that control.
And if they are worried about GDPR, they can pay me in cash as I have my own policy, all be it quite minor.
'Simples' 🙂

Thanks for getting back.
OK - it's on the site - it mentions GDPR. 🙂
My actual point is that Paypal haven't themselves put GDPR as a policy of their own on their site.
What you refer to on that page is about us and our own policy and are we compliant? Here are some things to look at.
If someone asks me how long I am going to hold onto their data is one thing I can deal with myself, however, as I can re-access it through Paypal is another matter, and the holding of that data is not under my control as far as I can see. An individual can ask for removal of their data, but I can't. The fact that I can't is therefore an issue. Technical, but then the law will not let that be a hinderance.
Now if Paypal can issue a statement clearing this up, so both customer and seller have a clear understanding relating to GDPR, I'm sure that would be the simplest approach, BUT, it ain't there - yet. Not that I can quickly access and get to see.
For the page you sent me, I previously only found that be 'googling' it. I couldn't 'see' it on the sitemap. GDPR is a hot potato but PayPal is keeping direct reference to it hidden. Why? They should have a statement? Surely?
I know I'm not going to get a straight answer here.
I'm feeling shocked and let down.
I'm not feeling backed up. I'm getting a sense of being left in a corner.
I will see in a few weeks what the public feelings are when I'm selling at a show.
Yours in hope.

Thanks for your help. Very helpful to read. Gives the answers I need.
To my original beef, you have had to say "Here are more PayPal links that I thought might be helpful to you, concerning PayPal products, and GDPR Compliance." But Paypal is still not officially using the GDPR acronym to help point out these things. There's no statement of where it lies with GDPR compliance - in plain english? I still think - for some maybe legal reasons - it's avoiding associating itself directly. Heavy emphasis on the user.
Anyway, thanks again for your time.
