refund pending

hello. i sent money to a mate and sent it to joebloggs.com instead of joebloggs.co.uk. i canceled payment and resent the money to the right email address. money was coming from bank account as paypal funds were dry. it now says my refund is pending.

does this mean its taken it twice out of my bank?

if it has how long will it be on pending before i can refund it to my bank account?
