I made a payment tonight to a company but only when I was redirected back to their home page did i notice something saying  that the site had closed no orders would be sent or money refunded, I contacted my bank straight away but the transaction had gone through !!  I am now panicking and so worried that i have lost my money - its for over £60, what do I do now

First don't panic you should be fine.

What does it say in your paypal account next to the transaction.

Does it say pending or completed.

Come back and can give you advice based on those options.

it says unclaimed

Hi Aitches,

Welcome to our Community and thanks for posting. I am sorry that we have kept you waiting for a reply.

I am afraid that a completed payment cannot be cancelled. If you made the payment by mistake the best thing you can do is to contact the seller, explain the situation and ask them to refund the payment back to you. You can contact t6he seller thorough his website or through the email address that you can find in the transaction history.

I hope this information helps and that you got or will get a refund.

Even though the email addy was incorrect to your seller it must be correct to another person.

Email them and ask them to refund the payment and if not then file for item not received via the resolution tab in your paypal account........as that person won't have anything to send you............put in what has happened and escalate the dispute to a claim.
