Unable to cancel payment which is "Unclaimed" / "Pending"

Hi, on the PayPal help page it states that I should be able to cancel a payment if it is "Unclaimed", but on my summary page there is no cancel button. Is there any other way to cancel my payment, because I don't want to wait 30 days for my payment to be cancelled (the recipient of the payment also cannot see anything in there PayPal or email about this transaction either).

You only get the cancel option if the email address does not exist at all, if it exists but has not been linked or verified to a paypal account yet then it does not have a cancel option and will time out at 30 days post payment.

Get the seller to double check the email address you sent the payment to and make sure there was not a typo on it and that he has linked and verified that email account to his paypal account.
