Reversal of funds/Cancelled Payment

Hi plpease can you advise

I have made a purchase from overseas and thought that I had paid for these, indeed the seller has confirmed dispatch.

I have received an email to inform me that there were insufficient funds in my account and the payment has been reversed. After double checking I agree that a mistake has been made on my part and have funded my account now. What do I need to do now, has the seller been paid ?

So what was the outcome of this? I've just done the same thing and not sure if it now means I wont receive my goods...

Paypal "pay" for your goods but put your account into negative status. All that means is that you'll need to put the funds into your paypal account to cover what hasn't been paid before you can make any further payments. You should still get your goods if the seller has marked it as being sent.

No don't clear the neg yet.

Normally if a transfer fails they will try again from your bank account a few days later, then if that doesn't work they will try your back up card.

So wait until you hear from paypal as you may not have to clear the neg balance.
