Speak to both your bank, to cancel the direct debits going out of your account, and ask them to put it through to the fraud department as this is a transaction that you have not authorised, and to paypal, to see if you have set yourself up with a reoccuring debit and to report a fraudulent transaction.... There is a way to see if this is the case through your paypal account but I can't remember how to do it at the moment, soz. Can I also ask, is it showing on your bank statement or is it coming through as an email? There are some spam emails being sent out (especially from skype, that I know of and someone saying the account has been suspended) to get you to log in through their links to access your account details. Be careful of such emails but do speak to your bank and paypal to investigate the matter further. Good luck  ... View more

Hi there Is there anyway of being able to cancel transferring money from my paypal account to my bank account please? I noticed on another post that money can be transferred free through paypal to paypal accounts and would rather do that than have it put into my bank account. As the money is on hold at the moment, can the process be stopped before it goes out?   ... View more

If it takes more than 72 hours to be put into our bank accounts, can we also claim for loss of interest? Why also does it take so long if the bank account is verified? I just had my first payment put into my account and needed to transfer it to pay for postage, but it has placed mine on hold too! That's not random, it sounds more like something is going on with paypal if it's happening to a lot of people!  ... View more

Paypal "pay" for your goods but put your account into negative status. All that means is that you'll need to put the funds into your paypal account to cover what hasn't been paid before you can make any further payments. You should still get your goods if the seller has marked it as being sent.  ... View more
