Refunds to card. "Completed" but money has disappeared, Again.

I was recently refunded an amount of money due to the item arriving broken. Paypal shows the refund as completed and that it has been refunded to the pre-paid credit card I used to make the purchase. HOWEVER, my card has not received the refund and there are no transactions pending on the card, so wherer is my money?

 

This has happened before, but due to my card only accepting a minimum deposit of funds of £10 I never got the couple of pounds owed me. This time the amount was over £10 but once again it has disappeared into thin air. I'm NOT happy. Can anyone from paypal please explain where my money is and when I will get it?

Hi there kerinsian,

 

If it has been at least 30 days since the refund was initiated and you still cannot locate the funds was can run a trace on your behalf.

To initiate a trace please email us directly by clicking on the contact us link at the bottom of any PayPal page.
